Culture & Values Game is perfect when launching to staff spread across multiple sites or working from home.

The games can be run online, with 3-5 people taking part in a video meeting. The “team leader” simply shares the screen with the other participants, enabling everyone to take an active part in the discussions. We support all video conference tools.

How the game works

The game is run in groups of 3-5 people using laptops, smartphones or tablets. Choose to run the games face to face or virtually in a video meeting. Both are very engaging!

There are a three main categories in the game, including quizzes and dilemmas to provoke intense group discussions. The game takes around one hour.

Category 1 – Group discussion

The backbone of the game are a series of highly engaging questions about the culture, values, behaviours and organisation. The aim is to align the participants’ interpretations and to encourage discussion. This data is used in the debrief.

Category 2 – Case studies and dilemmas

Dilemmas are a great way of making the Values and Behaviours more tangible. When they are set in a context the participants recognise, the understanding is much higher.

Category 3 – Trivia

Throughout the game we insert fun quizzes that act as “sorbet between meals”. This brings out laughter and let people bond, promoting an open discussion.

Live data for debrief

All the data from the game can be accessed live on dashboards. Use it to debrief live or to track participation rates and engagement levels. Compare countries, divisions, teams, functions, tenure etc and drill down to individual answers.

The Culture & Values Game can be run in small breakouts of 3-5 people, taking part in a video meeting.

The team leader runs the game on a browser with screen share on, enabling everyone to take part. We support all systems like Zoom/Teams/Meet etc and there is no need to download any applications.

How the game works – Level up and learn

The single player edition of the game encourages players to learn by solving missions and challenges and progress to new levels, all in a fun gamified format.

Level 1 – Understand the big picture

The game begins with an introduction to the “why” of the organisation; what defines the Culture and Values and why they are important. For an even better understanding, include a chapter about the corporate History, Vision and Strategy.

Level 2 – The Values in detail

This section provides in-depth descriptions of each value, from various perspectives to ensure proper understanding. The players are asked to reflect, answer questions and are tested in an fun competitive format.

Level 3 – Behaviours

The link between the values and effective and desired behaviours is explored in detail. Dilemmas and case studies help make the behaviours more tangible – when they are set in a context the participants recognise, the understanding is much higher.

Level 4 – Live the Values with Booster Missions

Go from words to action by completing tangible actions that represent living the values for real, linking to the desired behaviours. Whenever someone takes action, they log it in the game and collect points for them and/or their team.

Track data live

The game roll-out can be monitored live on dashboards. Track Participation rates and Engagement levels. Compare countries, divisions, teams, functions, tenure etc and drill down to individual answers.

Learn in an Engaging way

We use a mix content and media types to boost learning and engagement rates. The app sees players read, watch videos, answer questions, play quizzes, take pictures and interact with other members of staff if feasible.

Learning chapters are designed to maximise the understanding by using examples and dilemmas.

What a typical launch could look like


Design phase - Every launch is different and we always tailor the game to fit your organisation. Thanks to our various templates and examples, this can be done in 1-2 weeks. The game can be translated to and run in any language.


Soft launch to HQ/Managers - Getting buy-in from your managers is vital to a successful launch. Launching to head office staff or senior management first is a good way of getting commitment ahead of roll-out.


Modifications - Some clients choose to create slightly different versions that cater to various parts of the organisation (white collar/blue collar etc).


Launch across the organisation - We have a long experience of facilitating roll-outs, nationally and globally. The games can easily be run self managed by you, as a road show or with remote support.
