A hacker has locked your company files.
Can you unlock them in 45 minutes?
About the Game
“Beat the Hacker” is an immersive and interactive way to bring your values to life. Played in small teams, the participants are challenged to solve fun and tricky missions relating to your culture & values and eventually “escape the room”.
The game is a great way to put the culture and values into action in a fun collaborative race against the clock.
The storyline – You have been hacked
A hacker has managed to break into your servers and lock down all your corporate files. He threatens to erase it all in 45 minutes. But the hacker is not motivated by cash, his agenda is more philosophical. He wants your team members to prove that they understand the core values, and are ready to start living them. If they succeed, the files will be returned.
How the game works
In the game, the players are challenged to crack 15 fun and tricky missions relating to the culture and values for 45 minutes. “Beat The Hacker” is designed to promote team collaboration, so all players have been given their own specific digital clues. As the teams progress, more levels are opened up with increasing difficulty. The aim is to solve the challenges, beat the hacker and “escape the room”.
Tailored to your Culture & Values
The Culture & Values Escape Room Game is always tailored to your organisation. We have a long experience of helping large clients strike the right balance between professionalism and fun to convey the right cultural “feel” . We also brand the game with your logo, fonts and colour codes.
Play remotely using Zoom/Teams
The game is played in groups of 3-5 people. The players can be located anywhere and connect to each other using Teams/Zoom/Meet etc. All they need is a computer and a browser. The game is typically run as part of a virtual induction day or graduate assessment day.
Time, Place & Number of players
The game is designed for maximum flexibility and user friendliness. To start the game the team leader simply clicks on a link. The game is available 24/7 so you can choose to run it whenever suits you. There is no upper limit when it comes to number of players – you can have thousands of employees take part simultaneously from across the globe. The players are divided into teams of around 5 people.
Perfect for Onboarding or Recruitment
Virtual Induction Days can be dull affairs. Embedding a team based learning experience is an amazing way of bringing some positive energy into the meeting.
When assessing candidates, providing an immersive team activity lets you evaluate their problem solving and collaboration skills in a relaxed setting. It also helps you build your employer brand by introducing the corporate culture in totally unexpected way.
Check the score live on the leaderboard. You can even create a company-wide onboarding dashboard to compare all players, across departments, divisions or countries!
